Small bands of Whigs and Tories clashed in a fierce encounter, marking the land with the echoes of their struggle. In the aftermath, both factions, eager to conceal their losses, buried their fallen in secrecy.

One such clandestine burying ground emerged near a small stream, forever marking the landscape.
